Burmese Health and Grooming

All things considered, Burmese cats are low maintenance and easy to care for. You may contribute to the health and happiness of your Burmese cat by providing regular dental, coat, nail, eye, and ear care.

Burmese cats have easy-to-maintain short, silky fur. Using a rubber brush to brush your cat's coat once a week will help maintain it shiny and eliminate dead hairs. You can accomplish a lot of your own grooming by petting your Burmese. A chamois cloth clean will keep him clear of stray hair and shine his coat if you intend to display him.

Regular bathing is not necessary for Burmese cats. However, you can give your cat a wash with a cat-specific shampoo if you have a show cat or if Kitty gets into anything unclean. To get rid of all the shampoo, be sure to give your cat a good rinse.
